Good morning, I'm going to start saving up for a .416 Rigby, and I'll probably look for a used Brno or Cz. It'll take a while, but I'll get it. It's all a whim; I already have a .375 Holland and a .458 Lott. I'll probably try to sell the .243 WSSM Browning. Sorry for sharing.

That would be a great trio.

You could use the WSSM for a 458JCE project :sneaky:

I mean, I could as well. I could sell my .243 as well. Is God trying to tell me something?

So the 458JCE might not take off in Spain ;-(

Fine choice. I like the .416 Rigby. Haven’t used it on anything yet as I just got both of mine since last hunting season.

More punch than a .375 but more versatile than the .458 in my opinion. I won’t pet with my .375s but I don’t see myself buying another .458. Ill maybe go double rifle but not .458

416 Rigby is awesome! Keep the 243 and sell the 375... apparently it is next to useless anyway :)

Don’t be sorry for sharing your plans around here! Your desire for a 416 Rigby is entirely understandable. I am about to take my CZ 500 in 416 Rigby to a custom stock maker to restock in a pretty piece of Walnut. Then, at some point is the near future, I hope to kill a Dagga Boy with it. Dreams are what separate us from the rest of humanity. All men dream, but not equally. Copy and paste that last sentence into Google and read what T.E. Lawrence had to say.

I like my 375 much more than the 243 WSSM. Another option is to take your time and save for the long term. But my gun cabinet is overflowing, and here they won't let you document a new rifle if you don't have room in your cabinet. If I didn't sell the 243 WSSM, I'd have to buy another gun cabinet.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
