Thanks. They do, but unlike Talley’s, these are completely flat. These look like Talley QD mounts and rings.
PS: leather covered pads make sense on shotgun. Aids in mounting.

. They are straight walled/sided like Talley's.Their Mannlicher builds are beautiful. Their double shotgun offerings were truly exquisite as well.very nice , I have a brochure from when I was there in 1996 they were making stalkers on mannlichers sleek as could be
They were designed by British gunmakers to allow pairs of shotguns to be quickly mounted in a driven bird shoot without snagging on clothing. Heavy caliber double rifles were typically equipped with a simple hard rubber pad to protect the butt and to foster secure shoulder weld through recoil for a fast and accurate second shot. Practically, a thin piece of pig or goatskin over a hard rubber pad, in addition to defeating the purpose of a pad on a rifle, also simply would not hold up well on the extended safaris of the day. What’s wrong with leather pads?
Renaissance wax is what I use one them. Beads water like a duck. Not to mention what happens to leather if it gets wet repeatedly?
