I am clearing out a huge box of vintage scopes. I will start to list them by brand. Here are the first 3. They are optically fine for their age. There are no cleaning marks on the glass. The turrets turn positive and are tight. The K4 & K3 crosshairs looks to have been mounted and never use. The K3 post had some of the blueing that looks like it was either cleaned off with something that removed the finish. It looks as if could be re-blued. None of them look to have any ring marks and all are optically clear for their era of scope. All three came off of rifles from the 50s and calibers were .270, 30.06 Model 70s and 300 Savage respectively. There appears to be no issues, but I haven't checked tracking or performance. These will ship from TX.

If you have a vintage rifle and want a matching scope, these three are excellent examples that could still be used.

I don’t see posts very often. If the rifle I want to wear it were anywhere near done, I’d snag it. Some folks are going to get some cool vintage scopes here.

Great job on your photos, btw.

Thank you. Yes the post can be harder to come by. It came off a Savage Model 99.

Used a brother to the K4 back in the 60s on two hunts in Newfoundland. Gave good service in wet weather.

Other than coatings technology, they are up to spec on durability. They are fairly bullet proof due to fixed magnifications.

There is a subset of vintage rifle guys who like period scopes on older Winchesters, Weatherbys and customs. These are in incredible shape for the age. The K3 with the finish is is a bluing fix if one wanted too

I love those old steel tubes, Damn neer indestructible. Had a old K12 that I wish I still had .
