Very true Bob, we tend to get neglected down here
Chris

Not as much as Far West.

I think Bob made a typo,

Newcastle
Sydney
Wollongong

I will be down the Gong for a couple of days in 3rd week of March if you want to meet somewhere and say G’day .

That would have been great Chris, but unfortunately I will be away with my next work project. Do you get over this way often? Where is home for you? (I'm from a family of farmers scattered around NSW)

I am going n Broken Hill. The birthplace of BHP but little known by many east of the great divide. Closer to Adelaide than Sydney and following South Australian or the Central Standard Time.

I got around the Western 2/3of NSW a bit for work previously.

I’m not over the east much but will stay with the brother in law for a few days (15,16,17 March) before heading to New Zealand .

Broken Hill is an interesting place, with so much history. Sorry that I will miss you this trip. Give me a hoy next time, and hopefully we can catch up.

I grew up on a property near Junee, and I have family at Girral and out near Nymagee.

I'm a Wagga boy originally and used to hunt bunnies and foxes over Harefield way, coolamon.
Carted a lot of grain out of the west Wyalong area and MAP,DAP & gypsum into the area. Jemalong station is a bloody big place as well

When you meet @ CBH Australia I hope he dresses appropriately. Sometimes he has a habit of wearing his broken heel outfit to special places. I will give him one thing he does the pink tutu and ballet slippers justice.
Plus he owns a useless 243 but has now seen the 7mm light with a 7-08, 280AI and a 7x64
I know Chris I should have let you surprise him

Welcome to AH, Nails, from Grahamstown, South Africa.
I hope that your health allows you to visit South Africa soon, and experience the hunting out here for yourself!

Best wishes & regards
Marius

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
