A girl question about .454 Casull vs Desert Eagle.

Well I do admire someone that gives it their all! My mind is in the gutter for sure, I work at a wastewater treatment plant...so a lot of things are on my mind most of the time, a lot of dirty thoughts....lol

Well I have not watched a good Clint Eastwood movie in a lot time, miss them though, his spagetti westerns were magical!

Surely you've seen "Gran Torino"? I love all of his movies. Haven't seen his most recent yet though. I wish he were my boyfriend. I think he was my first crush from when I was about five. He and Leonard Nimoy.. Perhaps Mr. Eastwood deserves his own thread/topic on AH. Just a thought.

You know me too well Bluey.. Let me just say that I am more than happy with the label "shit stirrer". It's the first time anyone has every given me such an appropriate label. I'm serious.. :) "Smart Ass" was a name I went by up until recently. It was my Kindergarten nickname..
:praying: For you this time, Janey

Excellent info, thank you so much. I think I might have a slight grasp on the concept of calibre and velocity, or at least a limited perception. All I know is how to shoot with the biggest and most aggressive weapons around, thanks of course to my dad and his high standards for me. He also taught me how to be a sous chef. Your advice and comments are so very helpful to me. Now I just have to ask my pop what type of ammo he has for her. I've learned so much about so many things since I have joined AH. It's a privilege to be a member of this site.

Many thanks!
Jane
is your dad a proffesional Chef?

I saw Gran Torino on the last trip to Africa, I didn't like it as much as Unforgiven...that movie "rocked"

Clint is now 83 years old.

I know what you're thinking...did he shoot 5 shots or 6? To be honest in all the excitement I've lost track myself. But being this is the .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow your head clean off, you have one question to ask yourself, do I feel lucky? Well...do ya.....punk?

That was pretty good! CLASSIC! EPIC LINE!

He was, he is retired now.
Lucky Him,,anybody who is a Head Chef in a Proffesional Kitchen Knows how Difficult that Job really is ,,the reason i asked is I take it as an Insult to Our Proffesion any SOB who flips a Burger or Shakes a Fry basket has the Stones to call themselves Chefs,(my rant for today)

Excellent, yes, it is a very stressful and often thankless career but when it goes well, there's nothing better. Owning a restaurant and being the chef is a double whammy.

My dad owned a couple of restaurants and was the chef. . My grandfather came from Italy and learned the trade through his father. My gramps had a couple of restaurants in Cleveland and my dad grew-up working his ass-off. My dad and grandpa taught me (I worked in my dad's place) from when I was a kid. I would just consider myself a sous-chef though. I've never had any formal training. Now I am a phelbotomist, go figure.. Still I love to cook when I can. Mostly these days it's just regular stuff for my two boys so not much of a challenge.

I do like to cook. I cooked at the Hilton Inn in Monterey California, also at the Strater Hotel in Durango Co. I would never call myself a Chef, but I do love to cook. I once had Clint Eastwood buy my lunch. He owns a restaurant in Monterey called the Boars Breath . I was there eating with a friend and guess who walks in? My friend Fred knew Clint from back before the Wagon Train days , so he came over and sit with us. After lunch he picked up the tab. It was funny because he said "I'll get this you guys get the tip".
As far as the original subject. The .454 would be my weapon of choice between the 2.

And how about this one...
[and it's NOT a flare gun!]

you wouldn't even waste money on xrays, shooting that hand canon.
you would already know your wrists were broken :wow:

Come on, they set broken ones every day, wheres your sense of adventure.
