ZIMBABWE: Story Of The Hunt For Two Dagga Boys

If you liked the report, we have already finished the video which is available on YouTube. Thanks to my friend Peter for the video. I hope you will enjoy it, I'm no movie star and it was a first time for me :D Beer Bottle:

If anyone is interested in a similar video of a hunt for example somewhere in Europe, I suggest you contact him @huntingstories.sk, also for help with the organisation.

Today is exactly one year since our hunt and I must say that I was very pleased with the video, I am reliving again all the experiences. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about having a video made or not.
Wow. I didn’t have 30 minutes to spare this morning to watch this, but I couldn’t stop watching! Very professionally done. What an adventure for you guys. Congratulations.

Thank you. I'm surprised myself at how well it turned out. I'm glad it's good to watch and doesn't bore the viewer. We tried to hunt interestingly :P Cowboy:

I’ve hunted elephant in that area and my son took a Cape buffalo. Also picked up some plains game. Who was your PH and how did you get hooked up with him? Seemed to be an interesting fellow.

Our PH was Shingy, and he was really cool. Whether for me as a complete beginner in Africa, or for my friend Roman, who has been hunting all over the world for a long time.
PH was there as a freelancer, it was through a travel agency, I don't know the details exactly. But now he has set up his own safari Elephant Trails in Matetsi, we talked a lot about it when we were there, he was just getting it going. He was very excited about it, they've started doing some projects to support the local community - wells, schools and so on. He was always smiling and enjoying everything, a very positive person.
He's working with some American Marco who's like a contact person. I spoke to him recently about the tuskless elephant in the future, he seemed very nice and serious. Contact details and some information can be found on the website. If you contact him, send him greetings from Ivo. www.elephant-trails.com

Thanks for the report. Well done! and congrats on two fine buffalo bulls.

The same outfitter and we also arranged for us to take river cruises on the Zambezi River and Boma.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
