There is no limit to the number of firearms that may be imported into Zimbabwe for trophy hunting purposes, however if traveling through South Africa a maximum of two firearms are allowed even if you are just in transit. Some European countries also have greater limitation than Zimbabwe as to the number of firearms which can be brought into their country even while in transit. Hi! Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but is the in-transit limit of two rifles through SA still in place?
I've booked a couple of weeks hunting in Zim this summer, travelling in transit from Europe to Zim through Jo'burg.
