What is the average tusk weight a hunter can expect?

You can expect a mature bull with tusks weighing an average of 30lbs -50lbs . There is no sliding scale on the size of the trophy you harvest .

Wayne, do you have any quota still available for this year? How close is this area to your offer on Leopard? See where my mind is going with these questions......

Hi K-man, I see where your mind is going ....The area where I have Elephant available is unfortunately not in the same area as where I have these Leopard. 2 different areas approximately 4-5 hours drive apart. Plus you'd need to do at least 14 days to have a chance at both maybe even 16 days with pre baiting . Could start in one area and move after early success ( We hope ) would recommend pre baiting .. I can keep the day rate the same . Only pay trophy fees on being successful ...

So yes I have Elephant on quota still available this year as well as this Leopard and plenty Crocodile ...

Cheers

Wayne

What time of year ?

Never mind the Parks Scout fee. He`s returned to Parks already the first day so just calculate 70 bucks on that one guys:) Ain`t it so wayne ?)

Hi Wayne!

I will surely let you know when the story is posted. Working on it and trying to make it short but with all that action, I`ve obviously got some serious writing to do :). And I want it to be a good one for sure.

All the best,
Bjorn

Oh to hunt elephant again. Folks to hunt a tusker is simply the best.

i would have to agree with the above comment. for this price i am seriously going to have to consider it for next year if prices stay at this level.

wayne, i would love to hunt another tusker. will the prices remain low if exports are allowed in the us next year???

How many day hunt is it?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
