Zimbabwe A World Of Wonders

I absolutely fell in love with Zim last year. My trip to the Dande area was a real bucket list event. My buddy Jeff505 spent a day and night in Harare. One of the wonderful staff at Charlton McCallum gave us a tour. I couldn‘t shake the thought that if they hadn’t destroyed their country with a toxic blend of nepotism, corruption and tribalism Zimbabwe would be a dream retirement destination for US and Europeans.
Well said.

Agreed. Corruption is a fixture in every society. It exists because humans are flawed. The only difference is the degree or extent. In that light, there’s no comparison between our two forms of governments.

Both Canada and the US are headed down the same path. They just haven't got that far. YET!

Canada is dam near there, I live in Canada and am appalled at the ongoing crap from Mr Trodope and his minions.

My fist safari was in Zim, Buff/Leopard and PG, I also immediately fell in love with the place. The desire grew and my second safari was ele in Zim. Many years later after I have hunted other destinations, (Namibia and SA), I realize more what a special place Zim was/is. The people, the atmosphere (good and bad) ambiance, real hunting, wild areas, wild game, and of course the utmost best PH's I have the pleasure of hunting, speaking with and spending time with. Maybe there are other countries the same, Mozambique, Zambia??, but I do not think for the same value and cost.

Zim is in my soul, I will return. Love all about safari she offers.

Boy, are you ever right! If we don't get the corruption out of our system, we will be headed straight for the same result sooner or later.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
