I just recently (couple Months ago) Got my First Big Bore and went with a 416 Ruger Guide Gun ...... dumped the laminate stock got a Houge in a sleek Ghillie green and add about a pound of weight. I will be honest It took a few more rounds that I thought to figure out how to get that beast to stay where i wanted it... however I think we are getting close, this was today 50y Open Sights with 350gr Buffalo Bore Mono-lithic solids . I managed not flinch til the 4th and 5th ones just felt like sharing

Those Buffalo Bore loads, with the 350 grain TSX and the Lehigh 350 grain solid, are definitely not lacking in the velocity department.
The Lehigh solid is a bit more pointed than I care for. I would have liked a wider meplat on that bullet. Something closer to CEB's 350 grain Safari Solid' meplat. The CEB, even though brass, has a shorter bullet length than the 350 TSX.

The .416 CEB 350 grain Safari Solid in length comparison to the 350 TSX.

The 350 grain bullets in a .416 caliber yield a sectional density (SD) of 0.289. If you plan on using this load for DG, I'd highly recommend upping the bullet weight to 400 grains to get the SD up to 0.330 for better straight line penetration. In doing so it will slow your bullet down a bit...but that's not necessarily a bad thing considering that DG isn't really dangerous when it's at 100 yards.

Nice group. Keep up the good work!

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
