Phil, rob... i'm very pleased to run again here hahaha!
Ve7poi, it'sa pleasure to.me!
I'm wanting a time to write some hunting storys if you agreed...
Brickburn... hahaha... I was very near to do the same thing the emoji do !!! Damn cpu!!!

Bienvenedos a casa. I'm glad to see "shorty" is working again!

Sor interesting thing.... i'm using the flat nose 170gn interlock (hornady) in my 308win with 44 gn of "A27"... an argentinian powder by "FM" factory as allways... but i'm very surprised with the effects and versatility of this cartridge.
The muzzle velocity it's near 2600 fps. Very good stopping power at even 200 meters and above...
The bullet!

A short one!!!
In a countryside near my home (20 km) the last friday night. Under the moonlight i can hear the nois of a boars herd "hozando" as we says here... feeding with roots and bugs by digging near the bush (very though low bush here) at the both sides of a ditch. There are a few mud in some places of the ditch and the boars like to lie here and scratch in the little trees after mudding...

The noise was very loud... not less of 20 boars screeming and eating at 300 meters away. I put the wind in my face and slowly go to the herd... using the ditch as a cover until i go at 40 meters of the pile of pigs...
A very big one are looking at me an i shoot right to the head... suddenly disaapears of the scope. The moonlight seems a flare! The heard run away... but i can shoot again and put another down...
A very good hunt!

Happy you are back with us!!(y):D

Marcos,

Greetings and congratulations on your successful hunts! Your grass and brush is more green than my area of Texas is right now! We had nice rain in the Spring but almost zero rain in July and August (less than one inch of rain combined for July and August here).

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
