I am selling my Winchester Model 70 Custom Super Grade Express chambered in .375 H&H. This is a 32yr old CT made gun, assuming from the custom shop since it is listed a custom on the box. This gun is unfired in the original box, with all the paperwork, hang tags and warranty card from New Haven CT. It was built from Winchester in 1990 and the Pre-64 action. It has the classic Red Winchester pad, 24" barrel, with 3 leaf Express sights. The bolt is jeweled along with the magazine follower. Last the wood is unreal. AAA walnut with stunning grain. Gun is in 100% condition and remains unfired. Has a 3 digit serial number.

Asking $3500.00 shipped

I can send more pics if needed.

Wow! Beautiful rifle. I already have a Mod. 70 Safari Express in 375H&H or I would be all over this rifle.

I have the exact same rifle. Also in 375 H&H. Mine was made in 1994. I killed the Bushbuck in my avatar with it. It’s one of my never-trade, never-sell guns. Someone will be delighted to have it.

Dang, she is a beaut! Someone here needs this!

Now that's a rifle I would love to own! Oh, the cruel pinch of want!

Great looking wood in that Winchester

It is a Pre 64 claw extractor.. NOT A PUSH FEED

I will send more pics over. I will take a picture of the bolt

Here are more photos as promised. The rifle is a beautiful unfired piece. Hard to find them like this any more. $3500.00 is a fair price.

I see the illusion that caused the confusion. The jeweled follower looks like a bolt without an external extractor. :)

Yeowsa! That is one fine rifle! Another unexpected design detail is the stock because it has the newer, straight comb design. 1990 seems fairly early for a straight comb but may have been the standard in the custom shop or as an option? Either way I like it. I have the Super Express version of this rifle from from a little later, about 1996, but it has a Monte Carlo. I like the straight comb better. This one appears to have very nice dimensions and is a bit slimmer than the more current production models. No matter the trivia..... someone is going to end up with an exceptional rifle!

I would love that rifle but i would have to get a divorce first, then i could not afford it, my wife said any more guns she would cut my d-----k off when i was asleep,

This is a rare gem! Will not be on sale for too long! (y)

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
