We had a borehole drilled for all the game in a certain area in the conservancy to fill a natural pan that we call zalo
as we felt it would be great for them to have water here during the dry months as there is a lot of good vegetation for them
this would also increase our wildlife numbers in the area.
we installed a solar system this last week that pumps 2400 liters an hour .
since we filled the pan we have had Elephant, Zebra , Impala drink from it and one Dagga boy!
the first beneficiary from the panwas our Rhodesian Ridgeback (Badger).
the borehole cost a total of $10000.00
enjoy the pictures Liesl

The question should be
What dont we do for wildlife

Amazing and great work

Is that a natural pan in summer?
Has a great shape

Just like in the States, yes we hunt, but then do a lot beneficial to wildlife, long term. Most non-hunters have no clue.

I will ask my wife to post some trail cam photos of this water point. We now have elephant, buffalo, kudu, wart hog, bush pig, impala, leopard, etc. using this site on a nightly and daily basis. Still waiting for the lions.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
