Sometimes, I wonder how my 10 year old think the way she does. We have been watching the Terminator TV series and finished the season finale of the first season tonight. There was an FBI raid with SWAT personnel on one of the terminators, which you can imagine how that was going to turn out. Rather than show a big battle, they show bodies falling into a pool and then the first responder walks onto the scene and sees the lone surviving FBI agent kneeling over the body of a fallen comrade with about 20 dead bodies in SWAT gear all around and in the pool.
Lauren just says, "WOW!" And then follows the brief pause with "They are going to have to fill out a lot of paperwork. A LOT of paperwork!"
