Wanted Winchester Custom Shop Super Grade In 375HH

Pre or Post 64?

There's one on Gun Broker that's a G&H custom
https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1051913947

Cabela's in La Vista, NE has one in their gun library for the same price as the G&H. They also have a non-supergrade from 59' for $4300.

Expect to pay $6500+ for a Pre64 M70 Super Grade in 375 H&H that's not molested/altered and 80% or better condition. Some will go north of $10K.

I’ve really been looking hard at that G&H the past few days.

It's a nice rifle for what it is. It doesn't check any boxes I need to fill for my collection but would be a great gun for someone looking for a Super Grade 375 who doesn't already have one.

Right now I'm absolutely torn between picking that up or picking up a Mod 70 CRF action and finding someone to build me one :E Doh:

If you get an action and build it, it won't be a super grade. The only reason to buy a super grade over any other Pre64 M70 is for the value.

What makes you want a super grade over a standard or westerner? What make you want a Pre64 over one of the CRF Safari Express, Safari Customs, or current production guns?

I’m going to build one just because it’ll be fun and I can. With a short 20-22’ carbon fiber barrel run it suppressed. Now need to find the action.
