I wouldn’t describe it as “easy”, but the hunts in the greater Kruger allow for buffalo hunting without miles of tracking.

The terrain and road system is such that buff can be spotted by vehicle or glassing and then stalked.

Plus these are still wild buff.

TakeME-The PHs responding to your query will definitely accommodate you. I'm in the same boat as you; early 70s, 100% military disabled, cancer survivor, one lung, modified spine, and limited mobility in all my joints. Yet, a PH accommodated me. You can do this!!!

I would recommend Derian Koekemoer Safaris in Limpopo area. They are just outside the fence of Kruger National Park. I hunted with them this last spring, and I am 65. They can accomodate you. Their properties were fairly flat and you can spot and stalk from the vehicle if needed.

Have you ever dreamed of hunting Africa? Read Capstick, Ruark, Hemingway? Watched John Wayne in Hatari? If you are on this forum, I bet you have.

I have dreamed of hunting Africa for the past 50 years, and certain things were key in those dreams. Tented camp by a river. Baobab trees, Mopane trees. Crocodiles and hippos. Hyenas, Leopard, Lions growling at night. Buffalo in the thickets, eyeballing you. A tracker, following a trail through impossible ground, able to sense where the animal walked.

I have excellent buffalo hunting in Zimbabwe. I believe you will manage just fine in this area. Furthermore, there are more than enough buffalo in this concession whereby you will have a true hunt and not be pressured to harvest the first hard bossed bull you see. The numbers are excellent and we only target dagga boys and leave the herds unmolested. Please DM me for further information. I would be very happy to help you.

Congratulations on being Cancer free sir.
We do have what you’re looking for, we hunt the Lowveld of South Africa. Our hunting areas is mostly Private Game Reserves bordering the Greater Kruger and is low pressure hunting with strict quotas.
Our Lodge is comfortable and has everything you might need.
