Wanted Pre War 416 Rigby

If you don't find what you're looking for, Gary Downey at Osprey Arms in NY has sold many, and tends to know where others are that spring loose for sale. Some Rigbys are referred to as "vintage" because they simply pre-date the sale of the firm to Rouge River Rifle Works in CA as well as the reincarnation of the firm in present-day London. Precious few are genuine pre-war guns. Another potential source to check with is Mike Schwandt at Schwandt Classic Arms. Both Gary and Mike have knowledge and a reputation for honest dealings.

Pics, yes please. Can you take the pictures on top of a recent periodical, like a newspaper or something like that?

Long time no see. Regards, Gary

I have a genuine pre war single square bridge .416 dangerous game Rigby. I will reply to anyone that I consider a genuine buyer.

I have 17 other pictures, but my knowledge of the computer only allows me to download 1 at a time.

I sure as hell am not going to drive 400Klm to pick up a current copy of the Chronicle newspaper. Take it or leave it.

Lon - I don't think anyone here is questioning your intentions. Beautiful rifle. Good luck to the potential buyer.

Kind regards,

Thats a very beautiful Rigby, and unique to boot with that rear bridge peep and a blank rib. Very Cool.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
