Wanted 9.3mm Rifle

I plan on handling one at DSC to get a sense of it. They look great in photos. Have you posted photos here of it?

I have. Our hunt report from 2019 had a number of photos, including my wife with her Cape buffalo taken with that rifle.

Rigbys are indeed beautiful rifles.
Im a little hards on my rifles, Scapes dings and scratches. Would not want to mar the wood on a Rigby.

Oil finishes are easily restored. Look at the classics that have been used hard and look even better than they did new.

Fantastic. I hunted with CMS for elephant in 2007. Great group of guys. I look forward to seeing them at DSC.

That was a memorable hunt, one of these days I will give my 348/416 a shot at something big,the 50 Alaskan did a fine job for you on that hunt,I have a Steyr with composite stock in 9.3x62,have another in 376 Steyr, very accurate guns,,just too many guns & not enough hunting, drop me a pm if the 9.3 would work for you?

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
