Well this goes to prove importance of slugging the bore vs relying on my memory, the rifle turns out to be .475 #2 Jeffery and requires a .488" bullet. I had a small supply and am aware of Hawk but any NOS Kynoch, Barnes are Woodleigh would be desirable. Thank you
I appreciate the info. I'm not comfortable with mono-metal bullets in old doubles myself, I know some people are. I am still looking for some good bullets to feed this old gal.
what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
