Good luck finding one of those, but you never know who may have one hiding in their safe or know where one is. I have one in a 458 win mag and every once in awhile I hit some of the auction sites to see if there's any others out there, but it's few and far between that I've seen one and definitely never in the 425 caliber. Last one I saw was a 300 win mag. Hope your successful.

The 425 Express - an overlooked caliber - 2 rifles added

I just acquired 2 rifles in 425 Express caliber. A custom Winchester Model 70, and an Original A-Square Hannibal.

The .425 Express cartridge was designed in 1987 by Cameron Hopkins and Whit Collins, for African hunts. Ballistically it is equally efficient as the 404 Jeffery with a shorter length. Although the cartridge was originally based on a slightly shortened .300 Winchester Magnum case, A-Square standardized the case length as the same as the 458 Win Mag. (The A-Square Company was the only Company that offered Factory ammo.)...

Why not just get on in 300 or 338 win mag and put a 425. barrel on it . Probably easier and cheaper than trying to find one.

I already have 3 rifles in 425 Express caliber, 2 customs and the factory A-Square in that caliber - now the challenge is finding the only other factory rifle in 425 express caliber.
