Welcome to AHThanks for accepting me into the group.
Thought I'd share a couple of pictures of my latest acquisition. Brno model 21F 7x57 mauser. Cheers. View attachment 715487View attachment 715488
Haha, thanks. l did actually think that pic would weed out any Brno aficionado's. That and my Mannlicher Schönauer M72 are my favourite rifles. So, you start your first post with a rifle that makes all the rest of us green with envy?
Just kidding, and welcome. Nice rifle though, for real--a classic in the best caliber.
The Model 72 is probably the least known and unappreciated MS rifle--and it is great. I have owned 4 MS rifles, one unfired, two completely rebarreled/reworked, and one which I should never have sold. Because I already had three 8x57's I passed on a pristine Brno just like yours....still regret it. Yep, you weeded out the aficionados. lol The 21F has some of the best lines ever sculpted on a bolt action stutzen.Haha, thanks. l did actually think that pic would weed out any Brno aficionado's. It's funny, I think we all have that regret selling a certain rifle. Mine was a FN Supreme. The MS M72, is just a beautiful little rifle, a real looker. Mine is the excellent little 243 winchester. I'll have to post some photos of it soon. The Model 72 is probably the least known and unappreciated MS rifle--and it is great.
