Even though I have been a member here for a few years, never spent much time here. That is changing, I am leaving for the Eastern Cape of SA May 6 for my first ever African safari. 7 days 5 animals (Kudu, Impala, Blesbuck, Springbuck & Warthog)

Going to be quite an experience for me as it is my first ever guided hunt.

Learning lots on getting permits from Canada (Alberta/Saskatchewan border)

I am bringing my new Tikka .300WSM that I just got.

Looking forward to this trip! Just not the plane ride, lol.

Yes & no.. I have met many people in Canada that have never heard of it, and didn't believe that we are in both provinces.. heck I have met some that didn't even know where Saskatoon was.. lol

You are not that far away geographically in relation to the rest of the membership.
I have actually been through town, on both sides of the border, once or twice.

So, what outfit are you hunting with in EC?
