Sitatunga Hunt

I popped in last year. So you are at the strip then, saw from the aircharter, the expensive one. :ROFLMAO:
I wish.... :E Big Grin:

My business is... a little more fishy...:P Fisherman:

It's inline with costs comparable to sitatunga in Uganda.

I would be interested, especially adding in the black lechwe, as when I lived up in ZAMBIA I bought GMA licenses for black lechwe but always managed to get work issues in the way and never managed to actually do the hunt in Benguelo.
I agree with others here that those charter costs are ridiculous... I normally do not like to book and arrange hunts so far into the future... Oct 2017 is far away!!
Where is this already booked hunter from???

"I do a return trip to Lake Tanganyika every month, its a long drive!! Definitely not recommended for someone visiting."

yeah having done this trip with pete the other week i dont think anyone would be that keen on doing it. from ndola it was 14 hours (add on 3 or so hours from lusaka) with some real shit road for part of it.......now that was the part both ways pete said i need a break will you take over!! :E Big Grin:. great country up there and the lake is stunning so worth making the effort if you can afford this hunt. and you could always relax after at ndole lodge with craig and a bit of fishing , they have a great deck onto the water for sundowners :D Cheers:

Why else do you think you were invited??? :E Rofl:

Sort of like a Tanzania hunt. When you start adding up the expensive extras, like concession fees, and that air charter, (good grief!), pretty soon its out of reach. Now we fly all the way to Africa and return for less than the cost of a charter flight to the bush from wherever. That is exorbitant! Perhaps easy for me to say since I got a sitatunga many years ago when it was much more affordable. Still the idea of paying $4200 one way for a likely 2 hour flight just does not sit well. Yes, I know its shared with other hunters, but what if there is only one other hunter? Its ridiculous.

I'm with you seems like a very expensive charter! Did one myself before and the whole thing was half this price about 2.5 hours each way. That price is Jet pricing.

The other Hunter is from South Dakota, very relaxed easy going kind of Guy. On the charter, we do not have to go with my Quote, we can contact any other Charter company and see if we can get it better. I am easy, lets concentrate on the Hunt, if anyone is interested we can try and rough out the edges on the charter costs.

Ernest, you really know how to rub it in. Nice looking Lechwe..... Bruce

Ernest, I like the way you posed the lechwe, great photos.

Another "lottery" hunt to add to my ever growing list!

Well at this stage it looks like oll Dick Lane is going on his own, nobody out there for a great deal???
Great Sitatunga in a great area!!!!!

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

Appreciate your Limcroma/Franco comments. Will be seeing him in April....again. great person as well as his family (he has a new born son). I will always recommend him who makes a hunt special and exciting. Marc

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
