It always depends on what you consider dangerous game. It is not always the biggest.

I just used several of these 500 Nitros & 416 Rigbys to take 14 animals in Mozambique. All performed perfectly. For me, using ammo that I reloaded to work best in my rifles for the game I am hunting is very very rewarding. Softs are Swift A-Frames, 416 Solids are Barnes Monolithic Solids and 500 NE solids are Woodleigh Hydros. All were reloaded with powders that are not affected by ambient temperature to factory recommended velocities (verified over a chronograph). Sometimes I think I like reloading and shooting as much or more than hunting.

I don’t normally carry all that ammo at once but it makes it handy to just grab the belt and rifle to go to the range lol.

I never used anything except the 300Gr weight bullet in the .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. I have the Remington Model 700 Kevlar Stock Custom zeroed in for it's maximum point blank range. It keeps things simple and makes life easier.

That said, I do wish that Remington offered a 300Gr Core Lokt for the .375 Holland & Holland Magnum...
