Is anyone using a ShotKam or something similar? Does it help?

I’m a pretty good shot, but want to improve. My primary issue is I shoot left handed, but I’m right eye dominant. I have to keep my right eye closed when I aim and shoot a shotgun. It works out fine, unless I open my right eye. Be good to try something to help train with or try to enforce the habit of keeping my RH eye closed, keeping proper form and follow through.

I wouldn’t blur my shooting glasses because I want the depth perception and peripheral vision undisturbed. I’m not switching to RH shotguns…

You've pinpointed one of the classic and most challenging issues in wing shooting cross-dominance. Your approach of wanting to train through it, rather than just applying a patch like blurring a lens, is the right one for long-term improvement.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
