Some of you must have seen these out now? K1-S is the medium weight, but is still 22" and not 24". Stainless and walnut, several on GB, all appear to have real nice walnut stocks.
A bit pricey but nice rifles. I think if I didnt already have the African 77 I would pop for one of these.

I’m a big fan of them. Mine is an earlier one that Lipsey had back many years ago. That year they had them in 7.62x39mm and .35 Whelen. I’ll have to check the barrel length…

The Model 70 Featherweight below it is in .308 Win.

I have one of the Lipseys run from the 2000s, K1A I believe was the designation. Nice little rifle.

If anyone would like one in mint condition chambered in 35 Whelen here's one at an auction. This gun belongs to my cousin who is selling it due to health reasons. I loaded for him and have shot this gun. It's a shooter. It's item #359 at the auction. If anyone wants a Kimber Ascent in .308 there's one listed at #361 also from my cousin. Another gun in like new condition that shoots with the loads I made.

i have a blue ruger #1-S in 35 whelen with a 22 " barrel, its a good shooter. but the star in 35 whelen is a rem 700 CDL in the whelen cal. that shoots inch and a half three shot groups or better at times at a honest 200 yards.

Unless they just dropped a new one, the blued S was a 24" barrel, the A is 22"

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
