My favourite African hunting author, I have read them all. I think his website came down when he retired.

All but one or two of his books are on Amazon Kindle. I bought a Kindle due to weight restrictions for a charter flight in Zim last year and was delighted to find his books on there, I could read them when in Hwange NP where he served with Parks for many years. From memory when he went there in 1961 they thought 3,500 elephants was too many for the park. Today there is somewhere between 50,000 and 65,000 jumbo and they are doing much damage..
