If I am double posting and somebody already mentioned this, I apologize.

I very much enjoyed his music, across my adult life. He had a distinctive voice. The lines below are from my favorite song of his, I've Got It Made.

I don't need a gold mine or a long limousine;
I'm not the kind of man to surrender my soul to material things.
Just give me a cane pole and a shady spot to sit.
To me that's about as close to heaven as a man can get.

Ah man, so sorry to hear this news!

Ive always loved his music, 1959 is my favorite of his. RIP.

Sad to hear! Seminole wind is by far my favorite.

He was a great guy and always enjoyed his twangy music.
He spent quite a bit of time down here on the Alabama coast and kept his old Ranger offshore boat “Seminole Wind” at a home down the road from us. So I said hello to him a time or two in the past.
R.I.P.

Thank you for the LIKE on my old post. It brought back memories as I lost her a year and a half ago, at 18+ years.
