Good day AH community!

We’ve just wrapped up a fantastic 2025 season spent with both new and returning clients and are proud to be able to offer this incredible opportunity to all of you for the 2026 hunting season! This particular hunt always plays an important role in contributing to the ongoing care and management of South Africa’s white rhino population. Rhino hunting here is highly regulated, and we are fortunate to be among the few countries in the world with a strong enough population to continue hunting these magnificent animals in a responsible and sustainable way.

The hunt will take place on one of our various concession areas that hold rhino — the exact location will depend on the specific hunt you choose. These concessions are vast, some stretching well over 100,000 acres, and home to multiple rhinos, from bulls to cows with calves (exact numbers and locations, of course, remain confidential for security reasons). As always, we’ll be targeting a specific, pre-selected animal in accordance with strict protocol.

Despite their notoriously poor eyesight, rhinos have an incredible sense of smell and hearing — and when you find yourself within range of one, it’s an experience that will have your heart pounding like few others!

You’ll be personally guided by us throughout the hunt, ensuring your safety and an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

For those interested, please keep in mind that the permit application process requires a minimum of three months. Prior experience hunting members of the Big Five or Dangerous Seven, as well as proof of trophy importation, is required. You’ll also need to hold a current membership with a recognized hunting club or organization.

Our Rhino hunting options are as follows for 2026:

We have 1x White Rhino bull at an extremely competitive price. The Rhino is estimated at 18 to 20 inches and is fully horned and fully grown. Drone footage is available at request. The hunt will take place in the Limpopo province. The hunt is $34,500 all inclusive. This includes your trophy and 5 days/6 nights. Please see two pictures of the bull below:

I will once again make my offer that the South African government doesn't seem to care about: I would gladly go on this hunt if the SA government would issue a bow permit for the hunt.

I am now down to just 2 animals left for the dangerous 7 with a bow and the rhino is one of them.

Thats insanely cool.

Great pictures. Before the do-gooders start crying out in horror, you have to tell them that without the money from these trophy hunters, these animals wouldn't exist.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough space for it at home and my bank account is pretty empty:cry:.

But what on earth is that for a monster caliber?

I have also been thinking about what I would do with such a trophy. I don't like shoulder mounts in general and I definitely don't want a Rhino horn at home. I don't want to have to deal with some criminal gang who might get wind of it. I would only take the skull as a souvenir. Therefore, if I would hunt a Rhino, I would only shoot a dehorned rhino.

That's right, I would be interested for somewhat too, but I can imagine the problems with importing rhino leather into the EU. The craftsman you need to process this leather will also be somewhat hesitant due to various legal issues surrounding the processing of products from protected animals.

I saw a thread here awhile back where one the members had a very nice rifle case made from an elephant trunk he hunted.
I dont know about the legalities of import where you are but id imagine if legally brought in you could find a quality craftsman to make what you wanted.

Forgive me but are any parts of a rhino eligible for import?I didn’t think any country allowed it. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
That is correct sir, every part of the rhino including the horns is exportable. Hard to believe when we can't export any part of an elephant from SA! Does make for a cheap non export Ellie hunt though!

Kind regards,
Dempsey Bayly & Michael Sippel

I know you can export them but how many countries allow them to be imported? Thats where I thought the hangup was.

Right - as a leather worker I have SO many ideas for some Rhino skin which is about as easy to come by as unicorn tail!

What do you make?
sheaths, bags, holsters, wallets, purses, boot pullers, cigar rests, card carriers, passport covers, hat bands, belts, shell bags, koozies, hair berrettes, coasters, . . .
