Rdog, I use H- 4350 in my 35 Whelen. It is in fact a rebranded AR -2209. You might want to give that a try.

RL 15 works good but RL 17 seems more better

Reloader 15 works good, but Reloader 17 is definitley more bettera !!

This has been hashed out a hundred times over on the forum's, get some RL17, its the magic pixie dust for the 9.3x62

Art what load ate you using 4350 in. I would have thought it it to slow for anything but the 310gn Woodleigh.
Velocities with other projectiles is way down.

All of my BRNO/CZ rifles in 9.3x62 will shoot just under 0.75" at 100yds (5 shots) using H414 and 285gr Lapua MEGA's. Amazing round. I can interchange the same load in all the 9.3's and it shoots the same POI.

Sorry guys, I had my head up my ***. I use H4350 for many different calibers but NOT MY 35WHELEN.


For the 35 Whelen I use IMR 4064. Good catch Bob.

Art you need to get some CFE223 instead of 4064 and bring that Whelen into the 21st century.
