Agreeing with several of the above posts.
I do not and have not cared for DJT's style since 2016. I have always thought he had an opportunity to be better received (excluding the loons on the far left who will hate anything and anyone who is pro America or against their "policies") if he would just shut up. His personality turns off a lot of people, but his actual policy has mostly been positive from my perspective, especially in the first term.
Given the option to vote today for Trump vs Harris, Biden, Clinton, or any of the 2028 Dem front-runners, I would vote Trump in a heartbeat. The Left is so anti-American and ridiculously loony in their ideas and policies that I cannot fathom how they maintain support from even moderate left. It's why people Elon Musk and many more are now considered Right, when in fact they remained the same but their party went so far Left, it left them behind. Even Trump was historically Democrat, but is now labeled far-right, racist, Nazi, (insert Dem talking point here), and MAGA has gone from a slogan to a despised "right wing nutjob" group in the eyes of the radical left and their brainwashed sheep. Some of those sheep post on this forum.
You don't have to like the person to see Trump is a far better choice for President than the alternatives who have run against him.
I hate how divided the Rs and Ds have become. Both kowtow to their extreme supporters rather than use common sense or try to appeal to the majority. I would win in a landslide victory if I were to be named to either R or D candidate for 2028 president, not because I am supremely qualified, but because I would appeal to the masses. But it wont happen because I am not wealthy enough nor willing to bend knee to the radical nonsense. I really do believe another civil war is coming, mostly because I don't see how it can be avoided with both sides growing further apart. Otherwise, the fall of the US as we know it is inevitable. These midterms may push that even further given the absolute hatred shown by one side towards the sitting president.
With the exception of the troll who visits this thread with zero hunting discussion of any kind, most of us are much more alike than different. I Ignore those who refuse to post competent thoughts or have a reasonable discussion, but otherwise don't mind seeing differing viewpoints.
Rant over, let's all go hunting. Even if that's with a stubborn lab who got a little heavy mouthed late in the morning on the dove he retrieved.
