And for the record, I support bringing manufacturing back this way, but I’m also in a better position to absorb price increases than the general population

I can’t imagine Putin would be so stupid as to launch an attack against NATO. Time will tell.

Already plenty of probing etc....

Tubby it doesn’t matter if it works or not. If you look at which age class is voting for what and who.

In Michigan. Our Senate candidate Abdul got 60% of the vote in majority Liberal white college educated areas. and maybe even higher in the Ann Arbor area.

Conservatives are terrible about putting the affordability causation together in a quick concise message.

Keeping the economy closed 18 months longer than necessary under Biden collapsed the supply side. Then he printed and handed out billions.

People were paid more to sit home than they made it work

They were buying toys and spending money like drunken sailors

Too many dollars chasing two few goods drove the cost of everything up.

Employers needing to get people back to work, had to pay more than the government was paying them driving prices up even more

Unless you find a magical way to get people to voluntarily take less pay now, prices are never coming back down

Once again, the Democrats broke it and guess who has the answer to fix it. But now they call themselves Democrat socialist.
Thankfully your post is mostly your political opinions and nonsense. And is not rooted in reality.

spiraling the plane into the ground and the country down into default and bankruptcy.
Sounds like the Republican party and their tax cuts for the rich in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2017, and 2025. Or the Iraq war Bush didn't pay for, or the Afghanistan war he didn't pay for, or for No child left behind, or for Medicare Part D, etc.

More COVID relief money was authorized under Trump than Biden. Don't place this country's impending bankruptcy on Democrats. Trump just asked for a $500 billion increase in the military, and it looks like Republicans in congress will give him at least $200 Billion of that, plus at least $100 Billion for his Iran war. Your math ain't mathing there buddy.

BIGEASY. Your calendar is as fuzzy as your math. Biden reluctantly signed the end of the COVID emergency in April 2023, having milked the control out of it well after most everyone had recognized the scam at least two years previous. Who was president from Jan 20 2021, all of 2022 and 2023? The US HHS didn’t even bother to officially end the scam at the exec signature date, simply letting the order expire May 2023. They also detested giving up the power and control afforded them by the scamdemic. Da Fauch was simply one cog in the giant wheel of power.

The post was about spending and bankruptcy. The only major piece of COVID legislation signed by Biden was the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, signed on 3/11/2021. The other 5 were under Trump.

You do realize that COVID-19 is a real virus right? That killed over 1 million American's...right?

The post was about the Dems latest sales tactic. “affordability” class warfare and division.

I posted a list on why costs spiked since Covid. Please refute any of the bullets.

I will add Trumps tariffs to my list

Please feel free to contest every one of my bullet points on why everything cost more than it did before Covid. Also feel free to add how confiscation of wealth is going to fix affordability

Well then replace China with Bangladesh in ten years. I used China as a large umbrella to cover all the sweatshop nations around the globe. And likewise, when I say US I mean the entire west because we all have fallen into the same trap.
I have always had a problem with outsourcing our jobs to other nations. Globalists kill the soul of a nation. On a potential positive note. Mexico is actually cheaper to manufacture in then china now.
So maybe if we stop allowing everyone from across the ocean into our nation (that solves one major problem) then the people in Central America will start staying in Mexico.(which solves another) It stands to reason if we made China great then as nations which actually include China start using Mexico more they will be prosperous. Probably not a bad idea to have well off neighbors so then they have to secure their own boarders.

@Big_Easy I've asked multiple times and you never answer the question, are all men created equal?

I agree with you on the covid money under trumps watch since even though the house democrats pushed the bills the senate was still majority republican and trump had the final say. It’s always been a point that has greatly annoyed me is when he signed those bills.

On the no child left behind while bush did pass it and used Texas as a basis for the idea it was also civil liberty groups and Ted Kennedy that wanted it passed. And not long after bill gates was a massive cheerleader for the program. I’m not a fan of it because I’ve read, met, and seen to many people that do well in life that can not be measured by a simple test.

In gods eye I believe they are. In any meaningful metric that we would use in earth absolutely not. It sucks but some are stronger, faster, smarter, better looking, better at influencing these are birth given attributes. They could be very beneficial and also can be wasted.

The question was for @Big_Easy he comes on here from time to time and advocates for higher taxes on the rich, I’d like him to explain to me how if we tax someone more because of there ethnicity sexual orientation or religion it would be considered discrimination but it’s ok to tax someone more because they have been more successful than you.

Keeping the economy closed 18 months longer than necessary under Biden collapsed the supply side. Then he printed and handed out billions.
What specifically was closed? Restaurants, Bars, Nightclubs, Gyms, etc? Then no. Most places to eat opened by the end of 2020 in NC, and by early 2021 everything else was open for business here as well. Schools went back to in-person in either March/April of 21, or August of 21 here in NC. Thats not "keeping the economy closed for an extra 18 months." I also don't count needing to wear a mask as the economy being closed.

People were paid more to sit home than they made it work
No, they weren't. The total amount of stimulus money given to most American's was $3,200. Thats not much money over the course of an entire year; March 2020 - March 2021. Are you referring to unemployment benefits? Because here in NC they max out at $350/week. The median full time worker earned between $800 - $1,000/week in NC in 2021.

They were buying toys and spending money like drunken sailors
The payments req's were poorly conceived and not targeted to the citizens that needed the money the most. Just because a portion of the population was able to increase their disposable income and spend on wants, and not needs, doesn't mean the average American could.

Too many dollars chasing two few goods drove the cost of everything up.
54% of the cost increases (inflation) during the pandemic were due to increases in corporate profits. Only 8% was an increase in Labor costs...Gotta feed the stock market and make new records somehow...right?

Employers needing to get people back to work, had to pay more than the government was paying them driving prices up even more
Again, labor increases were less than 10% of the total cost increases. $350 bucks a week isn't enough to keep people on the labor sidelines, anyone living here in NC would never be able to afford their bills on $350/week. And remember, that is the max unemployment, not the average received. The average unemployment benefit here for 2020-21 was approx. $223/week. So $900 a month? That doesn't even pay the rent/mortgage.

Unless you find a magical way to get people to voluntarily take less pay now, prices are never coming back down
Prices wont come down because that means that corporate profits would have to voluntarily decrease, and that's not going to happen. Shareholder Value Theory wont allow it.

Once again, the Democrats broke it and guess who has the answer to fix it.
Democrats didn't break anything.

But now they call themselves Democrat socialist.
Only 17-20% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning voters claim to be democratic socialists. Democratic Socialist ≠ Socialist ≠ Communist.

He was pandering just like any other politician. He knew that a bad economy was going to hurt his re-election chances. Besides, he did refer to himself previously as "the king of debt." So we shouldn't be too surprised that he signed them. Especially after Dick Cheney said that deficits don't matter, and all of the debt that accumulated under the Bush admin.

It's true that Dems supported both No Child Left Behind and Medicare Part D. The difference is that when it comes to spending plans like Part D, the Dems wanted more taxes to pay for it, and Bush didn't. He knew that increasing taxes too much to pay for it would sink its chances with his own party. So they settled on debt increases instead. But the Education debt added was tiny compared to the tax cuts and war spending debt.

Debt is an illusion and is used to enslave the people. Both parties know this and both parties pander to the public about the debt depending who is in power. On the other hand democrats want me to believe that men can be women, so at this point in time it’s obvious which party is out of there mind. If anyone thinks the debt can be paid off they need to release that money only exists because debt created it, it’s basically the same thing. Fiat currency controlled by a central government (if you want to believe that the federal reserve is private as they say, do you) is a Ponzi scheme. Is what it is folks!

ln all fairness, the USA has had a progressive tax system almost since the inception of the income tax. So, tax the rich is not a new concept the left just wants to make it confiscatory.
