"During a visit to Puerto Rico post-Hurricane Fiona, Biden claimed, "I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home."

Scranton, PA where he initially grew up does have a large and "vibrant" Puerto Rican/Hispanic community. Wilmington, Delaware also has a large Puerto Rican community. Because of his blue collar family background when growing up, it is hard to believe Biden would not have been in constant contact with minority communities in those urban centers. Trump not so much, obviously. For Biden to say he was "sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community" might not have been a great exaggeration.

Harris's "word salad" doesn't even compare to the 4th grade gibberish Trump speaks and posts on a daily, if not hourly, basis. Not close!

Speaking of daily 4th grade gibberish.....

With the legends of “Corn Pop”, “Lunch Bucket Joe”, “being raised by Puerto Ricans”, “thousands of miles riding the rails to work”, “head hunters of Papua New Guinea eating my uncle”, “I’d love to take him to the woodshed and slap him on the ass”, etc …. How could the gullible, weak minded not be impressed, eh perfesser OH! Heck,I’m surprised Brandon didn’t claim some percentage Cherokee blood, seems everyone else in the western hemisphere does. ;)

It is probably worth remembering that it was actually the Trump administration in March of 2020 that granted liability immunity to pharmaceutical companies for Covid 19 vaccines and countermeasures. For those who may not recall, it was invoked through the PREP Act by the HHS Secretary. The scope provided broad immunity from legal suits under federal and state laws. The administration's reasoning behind the indemnity was the need to get a vaccine fielded as soon as possible.
Yes sir I know trump was the president at the time and for the record I also recall him complaining about Biden taking credit for operation warp speed which he created.
I understand the reason for indemnity to a degree. They have given indemnity to pharmaceutical companies for vaccines over the years. My issue is why they wanted to hide the pretrial data till after most of the people on this forums own grandchildren will be dead. Seems like a long time. Then some of the most credited medical doctors in the world raise flags and they are now considered lunatics. It is of interest that phd’s had the lowest percentage of vaccinations by population size. I know when mayo was forcing there workers to get vaccinated many of the top doctors and surgeons said no and retired or left.

I assume you are talking about the Mayo clinic? Do you have any actual data that gives a percentage of doctors and surgeons that said no and retired or left?

He never said he was raised by Puerto Ricans. That's you misquoting him. Childish but typical for you. And yes, apparently Biden did ride Amtrak between DC and Wilmington, Delaware daily for years when he was in Congress, rather than commute in a car and put up with gridlock. Smart move. I imagine it must have amounted to thousands of miles. Obviously, Biden was just repeating family legend about his uncle being shot down over cannibal country during WWII. Uncle was on a transport plane that went down in the ocean. Not unusual for families to create heroic legends about wartime service ... not unusual but nevertheless disrespectful. The exposure of the truth was doubtless embarrassing for him and his family.

Trump knows all about being disrespectful: e.g. his interview with Howard Stern bragging about groping women in public, peeping in Miss Universe dressing rooms, cheating on his wife with porn stars and playboy bunnies, and then painting pictures of himself as Jesus Christ. What blows me away is the born again types who keep making excuses for his inexcusable disrespectful behavior. But hey, Trump has made lack of self respect stylish. It's a sad commentary on the evolution of American culture.

For our members on the left side of the political spectrum, with just a touch over 26 months until the next presidential election, who do you want to be the Democrat Presidential nominee? This droning on of hating Trump is getting old. Who do you want as the next president?

Data for specifically Mayo Clinic I do not nor would they ever publish a comprehensive list of people who quit, retired, and were fired. I know they fired atleast 700 people back then for not getting vaccinated. However that number does not take into account all those that quit and went else where or those that retired. My spouse worked in cardiology and neurology at different times. She quit to stay home with our children and she knew multiple doctors and nurses who retired at that same time or just out right left to take a position where they were not being forced to get vaccinated. Several of the doctors that retired at that time were quite renowned in that space. It was not unique to mayo though more physicians quit and retired during 2021-22 then I believe any other medical profession. They have the ability to is my guess.

Well, employers' prerogative. I have refused to hire potential employees that refused to get clean-card certification and not agree to random drug tests. Refineries and Feds do not want potheads.

Yes sir

I agree. Although when it came to medical I believe it wasn’t because the hospitals believed in what they were enforcing but because the Biden administration made it a requirement to run medicade and Medicare. I remember mayo was fine with an exemption until the government made that rule. So then it becomes purely profit motivated not really quality healthcare motivated. (Healthcare should be about quality care that’s right not just how to make the most money) Kind of reminds me of Larry fink saying on camera during a interview that you just force companies to hire who you want and force the changes he deemed fit.
