Are you kidding? Iran is wreaked. If the country was run by economists instead of religious fanatics they would have surrendered. They can't bring themselves to do that. Trump really has little choice but to increase military pressure on Iran. Were you born blind, or did you develop a lack of understanding as you grew? Or maybe you went to a college that taught you everything Trump does or says is evil so it must be true.

There is talk about putting boots on the ground and a selective service draft. I won't attack your character though I do question your blind loyalty to Trump

They could have passed a bill that would have funded the secret service. It was conservative republicans that killed it.
You’re correct that the ICE fund g is the fault of democrats. But it was the right wing of the Republican Party that stopped the rest of DHS from being funded. They were more concerned with their right flank in primary elections.

Holding conservatives blameless for all things does not advance the cause.

I am not against the war in Iran. It was comming for a long time. I wish he would have gone to congress first. I think that Trump saying we won the war is the equivalent of Bush flying the mission complete flag.

If there was a "team.of 10 or 20 highly trained people" it would be a military invasion, not an as sanction attempt. I highly doubt any security team would be able to stop them.

I agree with yours and Red Legs assessment that the current tactics used. And the reality of the Presidents travel and public appearances. It would be very difficult.

I was merely pointing out how easily it could go very bad for a lot of our leadership. I didn’t intend to say how more Secret Service could stop it.

P.S. I hope they never put the President and Vice President in a similarly lax situation when Hakim Jeffery is Speaker of the House.

The USA has labelled both Canada and the EU as threats to their "National Security" in order to justify new duties declared by their military Commander-in-Chief on the international trade of steel and aluminum. So I suggest that USA made products such as firearms and ammunition should be sold exclusively within the USA so Canada and Europe can help our esteemed neighbour defend themselves and improve their national security. Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that Canadians and Europeans should make do with their own products exclusively. For all our AfricaHunting friends in Canada, Europe, Africa and elsewhere, please don't buy any American made products. Lets's support the USA in their concern. One can never be too careful when there are evil guys to deal with, and it is our duty to help, as always.

I think the problem is Europe and Canada depend too much on the US to defend them. Not a single country in Europe can defend themselves without US help, and a lot of help. Not a single country in Europe could sustain 30 days of an invasion. Canada does not even have a military, a few years ago Russian fighters strayed over Nova Scotia and it was American jets that intercepted. Nato is a joke. US gets nothing out of NATO. Europe is so weak they could not help if there was a war.

Nope. The Democrats are trying to blackmail the country and use that leverage to delay anything to do with the Trump administration. This is not how our country is supposed to work. The Republican majority should start acting like it and stop negotiating with the 'blackmailers'.

No, how about :
1) Volunteer totals not enought to provide military. (Trump fixed this).
2) Congress votes to start draft again.
3) Actual draft numbers created.
4) Actual draft called.
5) Your number called.
6) THEN show up.

When I was the 'correct' age, I went to the post office, filled out the card and sent it in. @jruby, what exactly is the difference and your big concern here? Or as has been asked earlier, "Are you just stupid?"
