Wasn’t it only a couple or few weeks ago that our European and Canadian friends were criticizing President Trump and the USA for demanding that other NATO countries invest their fair share of 5% GDP annually in their defense capabilities.

Now, AH members from Europe and Canada are criticizing President Trump and the USA for protecting the western (modern) world from a 7th century ideology.

The world’s free trade shipping lanes post WWII were kept open curtesy of the US Navy. This was and is at the expense of me and other US tax payers. You are welcome.

So what do you guys want? Should America be the world’s policeman or not? If the USA pays for most or NATO defense capabilities, that seems to be okay. But if the USA at its own expense takes out a regime set to impose to America and Israel, you are against that. But hey, the USA isn’t asking Canada or Europe to contribute financially.

If you don’t think that a powerful, nuclear-capable Iran IRGC would impose its will on other countries, you are fooling yourselves.
Don't paint with too big of a brush, there are plenty EU AH members who support the US doctrine.

Mark..you forget that you are in this war along with Israel..they have their own messianic plan in the middle east..

Come on now, Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, etc, we all believe in the same god, his son and the same holy books. Let's not divide ourselves over the form of worship and repeat the mistakes from the past.
Many Catholic teachings are antithetical to Biblical teachings. The apocrypha are incredibly problematic and not reconcilable with Scripture, so no we don’t believe in all of the same books. These are not minor but primary issues. Catholicism is the largest false/heretical form of Christianity there is. Sorry for being frank about it but that’s the truth.

If Europeans were like this during the period of the crusades they would most definitely be under sharia law in 2026..

Sadly looking across the European continent today there doesn’t seem to be a Charles Martel or John Sobieski. Or anyone even close.

Do you mean like staying alive? That seems like a desirable plan. :)

Yes they do. That plan is to keep the holy land from falling into the hands of Muslim rule. The Crusades.
Israel is the holy land, and it is the location of the shiny new kingdom that will be brought down from heaven after the tribulation.
It's more imperative now, than ever, for the USA to be staunch and unwavering allies of Israel.
Countries like Iran would gleefully wipe Israel off the map if they could.

“”If you really think Sharia Law is a worldwide threat, it must lie from internal implementation in the West, not external. There is no realistic chance of Iran imposing Sharia law on Europe or anywhere else. There are realistic opportunities for Sharia law to be advanced in western democracies based on internal populations agitating for it.””
You must live in fantasy land or have your head up somewhere, sharia law is continuing to spread globally, funding started in Iran View attachment 752510
If you are not going to bother reading what I said, perhaps you shouldn't reply to it.

If you think Iran can impose Sharia on europe you are nuts.

If you think Iran is funding the spread of Sharia for what is almost entirely a Sunni movement you not very well informed.

Let me give you the alternative view. Catholicism is the closest form of Christianity to the biblical teachings still extant to any size.

Let me also give you some further bad news. Scripture is internally inconsistent. It is not rationally reconcilable with itself.

Don't forget to criticize Hegseth for the $20m he spent on Steak & Lobster for all the troops.
Personally I would criticize his hair, but that is just me. He strikes me as the new iteration of the "Breck Girl."

If anyone wonders why the US Navy and all are cautious of underwater mines, I lived through hitting a mine aboard USS TRIPOLI and subsequently, “fighting the sea”. Two weeks ago we discussed the USS PRINCETON striking a mine. She was more damaged than TRIPOLI which stayed on station clearing lanes for the amphibious assault as the flagship of the Allied Countermine Taskforce for another five days. That was an intense five days as TRIPOLI kept taking on water and we would have less and less ship’s space as those compartments flooded and were secured.

Underwater mines form an air pocket under a ship’s keel. The unsupported weight of the ship then breaks the keel. Ships not as ruggedly constructed as US warships might just sink to the bottom of the shallow 200-foot-deep shipping lane of the Strait of Hormuz. That would be a month to remove that shipwreck to clear the sea lane.

War is a contact sport. It looks like the US and Israeli militaries have this operation well planned. They are executing boldly with appropriate safety for younger versions of me and many here.

Well.....Mr. Irrelevant.....if you want to have a war of wits, I suggest you come back when you are better armed.

As I wrote here a few days ago, the USA and Persian Gulf countries should form a coalition to control the Strait of Hormuz.
I can't speak for all Canadians, but I think forcing NATO countries, including mine, to pay up is one of the best things Trump has done. Canadian defence spending was embarassingly inadequate for decades.

We, in the non-U.S. west, are quite lucky to have America as a powerful ally. But that doesn't mean they get to be assassination nation and run roughshod over international norms and take a hypocritical approach to the very concept of national sovereignty.

America, when led well, is the most important force for liberty and progress in the modern world. When led poorly it can cause a great deal of harm. It's kind of like nuclear power. When used properly it is fantastic. When mis-used not so much.

I don't think America's leadership is very good right now.

Israel is not a monolith. The hardliners have more of a say these days because Netanyahu’s government needs their support but prior to the Palestinians kicking things off again, his coalition was starting to weaken.

If anything, Iran's support of Hamas has only strengthened the hand of hardline elements in Israel’s government. A weakened or, ideally, peaceful/democratic Iran that is no longer financing or training terrorists can only improve the situation in the region.

“Assassination Nation”, now that’s funny!

47 Years of an ever more powerful country chanting Death to America. Whatever should the USA do…?

Let’s put this in a more personal scenario. The following does NOT follow Canada or USA law; it is just a suppose this happened… I have nothing against you.

Someone for whatever reason continually threatens to kill you and your family. You notify the police who repeatedly inform you they cannot do anything until the future murderer makes a physical assault. Luckily that person, as crazy as they are, is too weak physically to bother you or your family.

Then, one-day murder incorporated obtains a handgun and rumor is he is practicing with it using photos of you and your family as targets. You find shot up photos in your mailbox. The police still cannot do anything because there are no witnesses. Your gut tells you that Rambo is getting out of control and your family may be the next target.

What if you paid a visit to this douche bag and disarmed him with a certain amount of violence? Enough violence to scare him away. There were no witnesses so the police could still take no action against anyone. Would that be better than a dead child or wife?

We are all pining for the amazing leadership that Canada has.

Absolutely, scaring the bad guy is the better outcome. And self defence is a integral concept to a just society.

But if I disarmed him last year and scared him away I am not sure why I am back again doing it this year.

I fully concede the moral imperative to strike against bad actors. But I think it needs to be executed properly, and without causing more harm than good. And with the minimum amount for force to do the job (although this can be difficult to measure in the moment).

And absolutely no offence taken. Your hypothetical is a good way to explore the issue.

So the leaders of both of our countries suck. That lets Trump off the hook for his failings? Thank god we have a man with your moral compass to lead us out of the dark.

Your xenophobia would be kind of funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
