ICE is operating across the entire lower 48… and has run saturation ops across numerous major metro areas…

And yet the only place they seem to be overstepping and shooting “innocent” people is Minnesota?

That’s the only place they’ve sent incompetent and poorly trained agents?

Or perhaps the common thread is the protestors and their behavior(s) in MN?

I agree with this statement… sort of…

I very much value opposing perspectives and different opinions… I actually enjoy debate… and I am genuinely curious when people think differently than I do…

That said… I at the same time don’t suffer fools well…

People with strong opinions on subject matter they clearly know nothing about, offer no real expertise, no experience, no education in the field, etc… that present their opinions as irrefutable fact.. I have no time for…

Time on this planet is limited, and the people you chose to give your time to should be considered… otherwise you are wasting life’s most valuable commodity..

As a very (personally) socially and fiscally conservative person (that’s sort of odd, because politically I’m more centrist… I simply want government out of mine and everyone else’s business), fully acknowledging that @Saul and I likely differ in position and opinion on A LOT of things, I think I’d really enjoy a week in camp, hanging around the fire at night, bullshitting about everything from politics to life in general… I’d love to spend an evening drinking a couple of beers with Bill Mar… etc…

The handful of clowns I have on the ignore list here? Not so much… my time is far more valuable than that (and… I’m not saying my time is all that valuable lol)…

Shifting the blame for Trump's countless blunders onto his advisors doesn't wash with me. Trump never wanted good advice from competent advisors. He only wants other clowns around him who will polish his apple. Who else but Trump can be blamed for his selecting bimbos and boneheads as advisors? Oh wait ... I forgot ... the Senate has to approve his choices. No better example of a bimbo and bonehead syncophant advisor than Kristi Noem. What were her credentials for heading up ICE? A mail order BA in political science after failing various attempts at finishing up a real college education. She was the former governor of South Dakota whose crowning achievement was fighting against masking up during COVID. That's it. Well, except her notoriety in the press for messing around on her spouse. Now there's a qualification Trump can identify with.

America wants the clown show. Real politics and real statemen/women are just not "interesting" enough. Everyone eats up the drama. Soap opera politics is just more fun. Until your retirement fund goes in the toilet or your kids are heading off to war. Then blame it all on the other party or the media ... because the alternative is blame yourselves for electing a troop of clowns. I'm afraid when midterms comes up this year Americans will flock to the polls and blindly vote for "change." They will throw out Republicans no matter who they are or what they did or didn't do. And who will replace them? More headline grabbing clowns wearing different colored costumes? Maybe. But sadly I think at this point ANY change would have to be an improvement. Hard to imagine things could get worse. Very hard to imagine.

On the agitator Nurse shooting. Watching a new cell phone video it’s clear that during the scuffle, his shirt was pulled up revealing the pistol in a holster. That is when everybody yells gun. And immediately pull their weapons.

At this point the 1st shot goes off, then other officers shoot. I think the guy circled fired the 1st and second shot.

Either he saw the pistol being un holstered and thought the nurse had drawn it. OR it was an Accidental Discharge. Which doesn’t explain the follow up shots.

I'm betting Kristi will buy the accidental discharge theory. Might work. This ICE crew should have been armed with X-Box controllers not real sidearms and ammo.

A squad size element of leftists got kitted up and went after an ICE facility last summer. These officers could be going out there unarmed and there would still be people gunning for them.

Agreed, It would probably make things much worse.

Just like Oregon’s lack of self defense laws emboldened Portland “protestors” who would attack people while screaming “no self defense in Oregon”….. local police did nothing while people were being violently attacked for simply filming.

I think the plan is to put an alternative mediating armed force on the scene to discourage any further inflammation. Not a bad move. The Guards have orders to wear vests that will instantly distinguish them from ICE. Whether Guards will actually intervene is questionable. But at least they are distancing themselves from the other semi-uniformed goon squad. It puts them and the governor who commands them in a position to cool things down. ICE will not fire on Guardsmen and protestors will not try to run over the guys who brought them donuts. I think ICE will be more inclined to be careful with their behavior if genuine professional armed forces are in the field.

This is getting out of control. I knew this was going to be a big week, but the USA trading is fast closing in on overnight trading in Shanghai 12 hours earlier.

Something tells me this isn’t a short squeeze by Asia. This feels like an organic breakout based on raw material scarcity. This looks like a price discovery revaluation.

The correction will be equally violent. Very interesting times.

You might want to consider reading the actual constitution and then reading the various cases challenging different amendments over the years and the outcomes of those cases when heard by the USSC…

The civil liberties guaranteed to US Citizens are NOT all guaranteed to in their full capacity to non citizens…

You realize ICE would not be dealing with ANY protestors at all if the "genuine professional armed forces" were doing their job and controlling crowds and dispersing unlawful assembly.

I saw no uniformed policeman anywhere in the situations where crowds were impeding ICE.

The whole thing is on the politicians that told the police to stand down, and incited people to resist.
