Two very closely related subjects. Near and “tear” to me.

My Solar Landman charged with locking up leases for solar. Is adjusting where and for how much the easements will be leased for.

The landowners around me have signed to lease so I was getting solar and wind, if I liked it or not, and they need my property for a collection line between panels and a transmission line.

The Wind landman is still bullish on the wind parks coming. They also want easement across my land.

Trumps policies and withdrawal of subsidies for “green” energy has got them nervous. They are confident that wind and solar will move forward. and don’t base their business model on four year projections or administrations but my cash windfall is delayed for now.

I am 100% a fossil fuel guy. And totally against most of the green slush fund scams. But since everyone around me signed, and I was going to look at them anyway. I figured an underground collection line across my land was easy money.

Did you have a lawyer read the fine print for the easement?

Nope. Didn’t even read it. Just heard dollars and signed it

I have not signed it yet because they are going back to sharpen their pencils. I wanted more up front. And more when and if construction ever got under way. And a bonus for bringing them another landowner ready to sign.

Seriously though. Luckily an adjacent landowner and good friends daughter is also his attorney so they gave a short list of questions and stipulations to be added. This neighbor and friend has signed up thousands of acres of their total land perhaps 1/4 of their land. They did it before Trump was re-elected so have already been paid their signing bonus. Now if it never happens. They got money for nothing.

The wind is a completely different group and they are are still moving forward.

‘I could get a gun within an hour of leaving jail’: how Australia’s licensed firearms end up in criminal hands | Gun control | The Guardian https://share.google/SrJzJc2cNr2q9m5Js
This is just Australia continuing to insist that regulating lawful gun owners is the answer to crime…. It’s not.

Your talking about a country where you have to register paintball guns as firearms and keep them locked in a safe.

While in Melbourne I was talking to a rather logical AFP officer at a pub and he told me that the Victoria firearms registry had never been used to solve a firearm homicide.

Further he said the piece of the puzzle that is never addressed by the government is the smuggling of illegal firearms into the country from Southeast Asia - in his words ……

“People who smuggle narcotics are quite good at smuggling weapons; so it’s easier to dream up new regulations than it is to admit failed policy.”

The AFP literally went to the heads of organized crime syndicates and asked them to hand over their illegal weapons….. of course these leaders denied having such weapons.

China has been rabidly buying gold for 3 years. The US still has the majority of physical gold but China is gaining fast.

Many believe it’s a multi pronged strategy.

“China could position its large gold reserves as a means to back its own currency, the yuan, potentially challenging the U.S. dollar's role as the global reserve currency. This would provide other countries with a credible alternative to the dollar for international transactions.

Undermining U.S. financial power:As countries diversify their reserves away from the dollar toward gold and yuan, the U.S. could lose its "exorbitant privilege" of running trade deficits and borrowing cheaply. This could lead to a weaker dollar, higher inflation, and increased borrowing costs for the U.S..

Bypassing sanctions: The knowledge that the U.S. can weaponize the dollar, as it did with Russia's foreign exchange reserves, has pushed some nations to seek alternatives. A gold-backed yuan would provide countries under Western sanctions with a way to trade and store value outside the U.S.-controlled financial system. “
just curious where you got your stats on our gold supply, most gold mining companies here in Nevada are 50% +or 100% Canadian owned and IVE never heard where that Gold ends up.
On a side note I heard a news article That says the 'feds' STILL HAVE gold valued officially at 40 $ an once yes you saw that correctly . from Rosevelt admin. I guess, and they are calculating floating that price to a modern realistic value in the 3000 $ range which would reduce OUR dept tremendously. No clue whether its true but it sure sounds logical if the 40$ is real.
Gold and silver are the only legal money , FLORIDA passed a law that gold is legal tender. I possess a ten dollar bill dated 1922 that says gold coin on the top and ten dollars gold coin on the bottom " payable on demand" on the back it says gold certificate.

We have gradually been wooing India away from its non-aligned but still pro-Russian foreign policy for more than two decades through several administrations from both parties. Along with being the second most populous country in the world, it is the planets largest democracy, and a vast source of material and services for this country. Geopolitically, they represent a powerful counterbalance to Chinese ambitions in the Pacific.

Of great concern is any potential alignment between Russia, China, and India. In a "brilliant" move of international diplomacy, less than a month after PM Modi seemed to have a positive engagement with Trump in Washington, the administration decided to slap India with tariffs more punitive than those on China - over a trade deficit of all things.

This week, at least in part in clear retaliation, we are now treated a strategic embrace between Putin, Xi, and Modi with hangers on like Iran. Should that mature into an actual anti-Western - and particularly anti-American - alliance, the Western Pacific becomes essentially indefensible offering some really difficult choices for traditional allies like Australia, Japan, and the Philippines.

India shares a common border with China and not exactly a friendly border, this may have something to levy on there relationship. I'm not sure what they offer the U.S. in trade other than truck drivers and motels that reek of jasmine rice in the office. Granted they are a nuclear power and that says alot.
Ahh I forgot the PHARMA trade !

Venezuelan F-16's buzz a U.S Navy warship.
The U.S has sent 8 ships into the region.

I don't know much about Navy warships, but I imagine they have pretty good offensive, as well as defensive capabilities.

Venezuelan F-16s? I’m surprised they’re still not using F-4U Corsairs? LOL

Not sure when they acquired the F-16 JET but I'm sure they have some of what we abandon in Afghanistan , m-60 's night vision goggles, armored vehicles, facial recognition surveillance ,ect. Oh and boat loads of M-4's and train loads of ammo.

Then why are half of their state owned oil tankers sitting in ports around the world broken down with repair and portage liens against them?

Just like the port of Caracas with so much broken oil infrastructure that ships have to anchor offshore and have their hulls scrubbed by divers before transiting to China, or the Chinese will not allow them to enter their ports…..

Think about how dirty a ship has to be for it to cross the Pacific Ocean and the Chinese won’t allow it in their ports.

Cant say for sure but I would guess all the maitenance money is going into deep pockets of Madura since the oil industry is owned by the state, or rather the country.
Or maybe just good old communist mismanagement .

I agree communist mismanagement…. Point being just because they have F16 and enough fuel to do a fly over doesn’t mean they have the infrastructure to operate them in an effective manner….. their just posturing.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
