Just looking at the inflation adjusted data nothing more, nothing less.

But the incredibly high inflation that the recent numbers are based upon are because of Biden's programs and decisions that caused the inflation!

A small part of inflation is due to the Tarriffs started by Trump and continued by Biden.

A larger portion of inflation is Biden's war on Fossil Fuels that increased the cost of everything! Everything needs transport as a minimum. But it takes energy to refine not only oil but many other things. Sugar is refined to mention one and it takes a lot of energy. Agriculture runs on diesel fuel.

The Ukraine war drove up fertilizer on top of fuel and grain prices.

And the biggie, Biden's ridiculous spending spree. Pump that much money into an economy that is allready short of supplies and labor and you double down on all those forces to drive prices up!

And let's not forget the labor.... paying people to not work is the best way to increase the number of leole not working. Trump did some of that during the peak of the Pandemic. But he was weaning it off However Biden came in and extended it unnecessarily. That fed inflation.

Forgiveness of loans, especially student loans, means they can spend money on other things.... Inflationary.

No damn the chart, adjusting to self inflicted excessive inflation is like a dog chasing its tail... Regular cost of living adjustments are one thing, that is not what we are experiencing under Biden.

Au contraire, Trump after agreeing to $1,250 per household with McConnell went ahead and said the Senate should pass $2,500. When the Senate did not pass it, on the Georgia runoffs the Democrats ran on the extra $1,250.

Heck, most on the fence would vote for the side that would give them free money. Just adds to the many ways Trump sabotaged the Georgia runoff election.

I personally think he did it to get back at Senate Republicans and McConnell specifically, for not supporting his 2020 election theft assertions.

If you ever get ultra low sulfur diesel cheaper than gasoline it’s an anomaly or a tax effect. The disastrous ULSD regs produced zero environmental benefit over LSD and ensured that diesel production costs would be higher than gasoline in perpetuity.
And when almost EVERYTHING in the U.S. is transported by diesel powered trucks and locomotives, one can see the disastrous inflation that has occurred by switching to ULSD. Countries like China, Russia and India are having a good laugh at us floundering over climate change while slowly destroying ourselves economically. I believe some countries in the EU are already there and we’re soon to follow.

Urban people think the planet is covered in concrete and people only need transportation to get to a latte or train station. The fly over states need carbon to plow ground, pull trains, haul cattle. I drive 1:20 one way into the city to work.

I told people 10 years ago that their electric bills would be 10 fold after the coal fired plants are gone.

And I was way off. It’s more likely, rolling black outs and astronomical bills both.

Then the fantasy land liberals will be banning NG powered plants.

It will be similar to musical chairs. whichever company has the last few remaining Coal fired plants will realize they are burning gold and it’ll dawn on them to keep them open.

But for most of the people in urban areas with high demand. You might want to get some wind, solar and candles for yourself soon.

Trudeau is burning out :D

- And today I'm announcing that Canada is investing $8.4 million in research in the Global South that will help better understand how climate change is linked to the decline of democracy.

I just don't know what to say about all this. One is a socialist, and the other wants whites to be stripped of their power. I would say to, if you don't like my country, I would suggest leave & getting the f*ck out of here, last time I checked the borders were open. :E Red Hot::E Red Hot:

Jim Jordan is investigating allegations of the IRS using artificial intelligence to spy on taxpayers.
I said it in the beginning, and I'll say it again.
AI, is a very bad thing.
Especially in the hands of the government.

When the backhoe was invented, it put a bunch of ditch diggers out of work and they probably thought the backhoe was an evil invention.

When shipping went to containerized cargo, it put a lot of longshoremen out of work.

Worldwide web killed encyclopedias.

Video killed radio.

It’s called progress. You either evolve or you lose.

Ridiculous statement.

AI being used to spy on citizens and control us, is not progress. At least not to freedom loving Americans.

Just wait until the banking system goes full AI someday, and tracks your gun & ammo purchases direct to a federal database, and every financial move you make is known to the feds in real time.

Come back and tell me how the "Progress" spew is working out for you.

I'll wait.

The U.S is adding $1 trillion dollars to the debt every 100 days approx.
The problem is that the USA has a very progressive tax system where the top 10% pay 70.6% of taxes. Those taxes are not enough to fund the government completely.

Increasing taxes on that 10% enough so that everything is paid for would kill the economy.

Tax revenue has to come from everyone, just not the top 10%.

Solution, which unfortunately would never pass, is a National Sales Tax where everyone contributes as they spend their money.

And no, there is not a $3.5 Trillion of waste each year.

100% agree on a national sales tax or Fair Tax as Mike Huckabee called it.

This would generate revenue from items manufactured overseas that escape most US income taxes. Apple computer is one example. Import costs are inflated compared to manufacturing costs, thereby avoiding US taxes.

Only if the 16th amendment is repealed. No way otherwise.

National sales tax is the way to go like all the other developed nations in the world.
