Hello fellow hunters.
I'm grateful to be part of this platform and looking forward to learning a lot from everyone.
My names are Miyanda Gwaba based in Lusaka, Zambia. I have always loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting are things I can't live without.
I have a passion for wildlife and I am training as an Apprentice Professional Hunter. I will be in my second year of training next year. I am currently apprenticing with some of the best Safari Hunting Outfitters in Zambia and some of the renowned Professional Hunters in Zambia.
I am currently working with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife as the Senior Licensing/Compliance Officer in the Commercial Services Section which is the business front of the department that deals with licensing, regulation and establishment of consumptive and non consumptive tourism operations in Zambia.
The Safari Hunting industry in Zambia has a lot of potential for emerging young Professional Hunters. Looking forward to completing my training, aligning myself and working with a number of Safari Hunting Outfitters and owning my own hunting outfit on a government hunting concession and a private wildlife estate.
My dream and goal is to see a lot more of the younger generation globally getting interested and involved in Safari Hunting with a hope to make Zambia and Africa at large as a preferred hunting destination.
