I'm a big fan of 180 grain bullets in the 30-06. I would use factory Federal 180 grain Terminal Assent loads and never look back. If you prefer mono-metals I'd recommend the 180 grain S&B, its half the price of Barnes and you'll never notice a diffrence in preformance.
