on a lighter note...

I’d be in the Army currently if it wasn’t for that chair. The machine told me to stop pressing the button when there was no tone.
Yeah, they tell me the same thing. I tell them their tones need to break squelch on my tinnitus.

Let me know when you regain consciousness so I can send you a get well soon card.

Or

Please have you now recently widow to send me a current photo of her in a bikini.

That last bit should have said:

Please have your now recently widow to send me a current photo of her in a bikini next to your complete firearms collection.

If you shot without hearing protection when you were younger, you will relate to this.

You know it ain’t going well when you sit there for 30 seconds watching the tech turning knobs and pushing buttons with this “is this thing working?” Look on their face.

Jusr watched a video of back in 1900's where there was a wedding. Everyone was wearing white. These days everonee is wearing black like at a funeral. Makes me think.....
@Jörg Krüger
When I got narried the wife asked me to wear a black suit. I told her black was for funerals. She got out a photo of a friend's wedding where the groom was in black.
I just said I suppose I can wear black. There's not much difference between a wedding and a funeral anyway, you just get more peace after a funeral.
The wedding was almost called off but they didn't keep me long at the ED and I could still eat solid food.

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
