on a lighter note...

They rank right up there with my metric pliers.
I had beena couple of years working the high country when I left and was in my joinery/furniture making apprenticeship for about 6 months when we changed all measurements over to metric in the late 60's. Mother asked how it would effect me so I told her I had to buy all new tools - saws were all sharpened at points per inch and had to be changed for points per centimeter, 6 inch square for a 150mm one etc etc and my father was trying to keep a straight face as I went through the list of tool I needed to change untill it got so obvious that she caught on. Was a fun 1/2 hr though

Hard to believe FIFTY years have gone by since that song hit the charts.

God I have been looking for these forever along with the long lost sky hook, black tin of compression and long weight.
Yes indeed, along with the rope pusher, the portable hole and the bucket of steam!

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
