on a lighter note...

I'm in the hospital while they figure out what to do about my bleeding ulcer. The staff didn't put anything on my chart for "Care Plan" so I filled in the blanks. Hope it works. I'm damn tired of lime jello, apple juice, and saltless broth (boy, that shit is awful).

This morning someone from dietician dept came around asking for feedback on the chow. "Lady, you need an armed guard for your job!"
Lived on that crap for 17 days same hospital. Makes you wonder if there is a real cook on staff

Went to a trivia night

A tricky question was raised
What food makes you cry!??
[emoji22]
I yelled out
Artichokes

The host and everyone just looked at me stunned like

I explained
If you have to eat artichokes
You'll want to cry
Now how smart was I ??[emoji3][emoji56][emoji16]

Walked into a truck stop a few months ago and there were long lines for the available thrones except for one of them. I went into it and saw that the paper hanger had been torn off of the wall. It didn't bother me since I was on a long trip and just happened to have a small supply of paper with me in a zip lock bag. I did my business and cleaned up. As I exited a gentleman laughed at me and asked me how my shorts were I just smiled and handed him what was left of my supply, he happy took it.

I often wonder what the next gent did when they saw the predicament that they were about to get into when they sat down.

Two years ago driving back from annual hunt in Montana I had to hit the john at a truckstop. Finished up my business to find the stall had one of the old style TP dispensers with little square sheets in a stack pulled out from the bottom of a locked metal box one at a time like kleenex. Arrgh! Looking closer it appeared some frustrated soul had shot it with a heavy caliber handgun, probably .38 caliber. Wish I'd taken a photo.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
