I think I broke more things when I was a 2ndLt than I did when I was a LCpl.

And I knew a lot of other 2ndLts who would "direct" (order not quite being the right word) others to do things that really broke things...

2Lts (with exceptions) generally lack experience and proper training. Whereas majors are looking to make LTC.
