I haven’t heard it called that by Arizonans, but it is certainly accurate (the 100 days of no rain before monsoon starts). It’s the reason I had to move somewhere my ginger wife wouldn’t melt.

Monsoon should start in about 2 weeks, so the 100 days will almost be up. Then it’s 90-100deg with daily flooding.

Gary Plauche was my peewee football coach. I think I was 12 or 13 when he shot this dirtbag, local TV news in Baton Rouge was providing live coverage of said dirtbag being escorted through the Baton Rouge airport by East Baton Rouge parish sheriff's deputies. Yep, got to see coach Plauche put this guy down on live TV.
