I am going to try some Nosler solids in my 470 but need input on loads. I called Nosler they said call Alliant and they said call Nosler. No help at either place. I want to use Reloder 15 but do not know where the starting load should should be. 2 grains or 5 grains below my A-Frame load? Help please. Thanks in advance Mike

Using data on other bullets, less a few grains for safety as a starting point makes sense. I did not get regulation with the speed I wanted from Noslers using RL15. ( Note Hornady's max speed with RL15 is 1,950. ) For me, RL23 and N555 worked best with Noslers. They proved to be quite accurate.

Hornady, Woodleigh, and Shooting the British Double show data for RL15, but Swift, and Barnes do not.

The RL15 max load leaves space in the case, so many people use a foam filler.

Be sure and use a chronograph while working up. Best of luck.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
