It's a known fact that among some rugers, some of them come from factory with a weak spring. Seen this twice within a dozen ruger's I've worked with over time. I installed a 28# spring and no more issues.

I've only ever had that with the single Ruger American rifle I got (that was enough) and never seen it with the M77 action. Good to know they are out there though if that does prove to be an issue with these.
I have however seen the Remington ammo be the issue across many different brands of rifles and even when multiple ammo brands are used, it's only the Rem that does it. Will be curious to see how it shakes out.
