HAD PLANNED ON HAVING NEIL JONES DO A TRIGGER JOB ON A LITTLE 7MM-08 FOR MY GRANDAUGHTER SADLY BETWEEN ME JACKING AROUND GETTING IT SENT AND MR JONES GETTING SICK, HE IS NO LONGER WITH US AND DIDN'T GET TO THE TRIGGER. R.I.P.
DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ANOTHER GOOD BLR TRIGGER GUNSMITH (NOT AS EASY AS THROWING A TIMNEY IN AND WALKING AWAY)? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

@SETH RINGER
My gunsmith reckons a trigger job in a BLR is a prick of a job but he did my mates and got it to a nice 3#. Still not a match trigger but a big improvement.

@Bob Nelson 35Whelen - I didn’t even know it was “Possible” to improve a BLR trigger?? I like my two BLRs (1992 BLR in .223 & 1996 in .243). Both are accurate and cycle fast BUT the trigggers ‘suck’ and especially the .243….”squishy” with Endless travel before the trigger finally breaks. I called Browning around 1997 and they had me send it (.243) back (I paid shipping both ways AND handling fee to local GS). After waiting 6 weeks to get the gun back from Browning the Final written result “Trigger is within SPEC”…they did NOTHING. I guess “Spec” for Browning is a Trigger with a pull of 5 to 8 lbs. and Travel between 1/4” and 6” !! Another GS I took it too refused to work on it saying “can’t do much with them”…..so I gave up ! They shoot ok and I got use to the poor trigger but they are the worst triggers on any gun I’ve ever owned and they detract from an otherwise well made, accurate, light, fast handling, nicely blued/decent walnut Lever Action rifle.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
