Just purchased a "like new" Featherweight in 270 Winch, a rifle/caliber combination I've always wished to have. It appears to be in 101% condition, still the factory grease over metals, never ever fired, never bases/rings mounted on. It's an unsold rifle from a closed (...quite long time ago) gun shop. Numer is G5489x (last number xed), it's a new Heaven rifle, and I guess it could be produced in the early '80 - but is just a guess. Can anyone help me in finding (more or less) the year of production?

Yes it's a CFR
The rubber pad seems older than 2000
Winchester has a Serial Number app but says 1946, obviously impossible

Very late 90’s to early 2000 - they had a few runs with the G serial before they changed it.

This might help:
That chart doesnt go late enuf for this rifle.

You can call Winchester customer service with the serial number and they can tell exactly when it was made. I just did this for a safari classic rifle I just bought. They were real helpful.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
