I just got a new puppy
She is a Swedish White Elkhound and I have given her the name Tikka.
I am looking forward to many days in the woods with her and I hope she will make me proud

I feel really good about my pick.
I got first pick of the litter, and I think I did a good job.

She is calm and steady. Though and gentle.
She enjoys to be outside and want to investigate everything and I see how she uses her nose, eyes and ears all the time.
She is really good at paying attention to me and quickly understands what I want.

I have a really good feeling about her and hope I will do a good job making her a great hunting dog.

It was about time for me to get a dog again.
I had a 3 years break from having dogs after I had a bunch of dogs for 20+ years.
But now I felt a strong urge to have a hunting dog again
